Ph.D. in School Psychology

The Ph.D. program in Guidance and Psychological Services with a specialization in School Psychology has a rich history of being one of the first such programs in the state of Indiana back in 1965. Generally taking students five years to complete full requirements of coursework, practicum, internship, preliminary examinations, and dissertation, the program involves extensive hands-on experience in the P-12 school setting, Porter School Psychology Center, and the on-campus Grosjean Clinic in University Hall. Indiana State University – Bloomington

Department of Counseling and Educational Psychology

Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology

Created in a practitioner-model of professional education that focuses on training graduate students for general clinical practice in psychological sciences, the PsyD in Clinical Psychology program develops a solid foundation of core knowledge in assessment, intervention, and research skills by means of a structured sequence of practical experiences. In the final year of the program, students have the freedom to develop expertise in a concentration area of Health Psychology and Behavioral Medicine, Childhood and Adolescent Psychology, or Adult Psychopathology and Psychotherapy.
